California Premiere of Stitched: A Quilting Documentary

On July 29 and 30th, the International Quilt Festival will be at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Now I’m only remotely interested in quilts, but I do love a good documentary. This years quilt festival will host the California premiere for a quirky little independent film called Stitched: A Quilting Documentary. Created by and about Houston quilters and quilting enthusiasts, it follows three non-traditional quilters as they work to finish their entries for the Houston International Quilt Association Show.  The trailor and teaser videos below certainly provide some of the flavor for this hour-long documentary!

7/29 Friday 1 pm: California premiere of Stitched: A Quilting Documentary

7/30 Saturday, 1 pm: Stitched: A Quilting Documentary

Director Jena Moreno will be attending the Long Beach quilt show on July 29 and 30 to answer questions about the film.
