
The Associated Press Stylebook has added a fashion focused chapter, compiled by Samantha Critchell, AP fashion writer for the last 12 years.. The AP Stylebook Online has also recently added a new Fashion Guidelines section, including 185 terms and names. These include:
A-line; Alaia, Azzedine; anorak; argyle; Armani, Giorgio; atelier; babydoll; back-to-school clothing; Balenciaga, Cristobal; ballgown; Barneys New York; batik; bespoke; bias cut; Bloomingdale’s; boatneck, bateau; bodysuit; boho; boucle; bra; brogue; brooch; buffalo check; bustier, and button-down.

This is great that the AP is recognizing fashion terminology as something they need to take seriously. Hooray!
